MOYA Studio Wins Creative Startup of the Year (South West) at the UK StartUp Awards 2026

MOYA Studio is proud to announce that we have been named Creative Startup of the Year (South West Region) at the UK StartUp Awards 2026.

This award recognises our work as a specialist product design and development studio for bag and accessory startups, helping founders turn early-stage ideas into commercially viable products through strategy, design, technical development, prototyping, sourcing and manufacturing support.

A Meaningful Milestone for MOYA Studio

Winning this award is a very meaningful moment for us, not only because it celebrates our growth as a startup, but because it recognises the reason MOYA Studio was created in the first place.

Many founders come to us with thoughtful, original product ideas. They may have identified a real problem, spotted a gap in the market, or imagined a product that does not yet exist. However, turning that idea into a physical product is rarely straightforward.

The fashion product development and manufacturing system can be difficult for startups to navigate. Founders often need to coordinate designers, technical specialists, prototype makers, sourcing agents and manufacturers, all before they have even launched their first product.

Without the right guidance, the process can quickly become fragmented, expensive and confusing.

Supporting Founders from Idea to Production

MOYA Studio was built to offer a more connected approach.

Instead of treating design, sampling, sourcing and production as separate stages handled by separate providers, we bring these areas together into one integrated development process. This allows us to help founders think clearly from the beginning: not only about how a product should look, but how it should function, how it can be made, what it may cost, and how it can realistically move towards production.

Our role is not simply to design a beautiful bag or accessory. It is to help founders build products that are creative, feasible, commercially considered and ready for the next stage of their business.

Since launching, MOYA Studio has supported over 20 founders in developing their first products across handbags, travel bags, pet accessories, baby and parent products, lifestyle accessories and other innovative bag and accessory concepts.

Looking Ahead to the National Finals

Following our regional win, MOYA Studio will now represent the South West at the UK StartUp Awards national finals in September 2026.

We are incredibly proud of this recognition and grateful to every founder who has trusted us with their idea, ambition and vision.
